HAPPY NEW YEAR 2008!

say HI to 2008!!! 新年快乐!
It's the year of rat, which is my year :)
Back to the start of the chinese zodiac 12-year cycle.
on a side note, I've been through the cycle twice. (Interpret this sentence to get my age.)

In the back of our minds we all always hope that the coming yr will be better than the ones we leave behind.
So have u got ur new year resolutions up ur sleeve?
A definite yes?, then move ur ass and start working towards it. If not, get cracking!

fancy goin to malaysia during peak hours? and also to avoid woodland causeway jam. There is 2 practical ways. 1 is to use the second link, while the other is simply hop onto a bicycle.

(Pardon for the 'superb' hp cam)
This is wat this uncle did. Not only did he avoided the massive motorbike passage jam, he can cut vehicles' lane. yes! he did cut into our vehicles' lane and proceed on with the passport verification.

Normal guys' toilet

Merry christmas~~

hohoho merry christmas to all :)
enjoy this festive day with your loved ones!

while browsing the net, chanced upon this elegant christmas tree.

Steve Quick, the jeweler, created a five pounds solid 18K gold Christmas Tree, is valued at over $500,000! (its in USD) The layer of 200 carats of diamonds forms a glittering dust of snow over the 4.25 cart stone in a platinum star. It was created to bring hope and help to people battling cancer.
The Christmas Tree is auctioning now on eBay and the full amount of profit will be donated to the American Cancer Society!

legendary ramen?

VIVO vola~~

After sending dearest home, went to search for the topic title as suggested by ah seng. Their ramen is just like ajisen style but slightly more expensive and less variety. But their hard boiled egg is quite unique as the yolk is soft and big.

a breather~

Finally its sunday! simply love to work at golden mile. They have the best aunty, who not only cooks good food but also has a kind and generous heart; always treat us thai goodies and drinks! Their soup, chicken wing and mango rice are da best at little thai! Heard that she also had set up a school for the poorer kids in thailand for studies.
Moreover, at work, we have got our entertainer, educator and also analyst, 3-in-1 Youfa who teaches and preaches us about life, his way of living and way of thinking.

FINALLY, after work met up wif my dearest:D. We went to MOF at bugis for japanese cuisine!

chawanmushi.

It's the best chawanmushi I've tried. The texture is very soft and it melts in your mouth, not on ur spoon! You certainly will not get sick of it!

agedashi tofu

tori karaage in sauce
It's fried chicken with terriyaki sauce.

unagi bento
my dish. the unagi is soft with its meat and bits of fats, which gradually slide down my throat.
While, my dearest had plain udon.

all work no play

2 more assignments to go.. b4 the 'hell' study week commence. I hate these semester modules. 1 is the core and toughest module, while the other's can be simplify in 1 word. Memorise.
Easier said than done as we can only memorise easily if we like or have an interest in the stuff. As age is catching up on me, i seriously hate to memorise. til my holidays, gona sulk all the way! BUTBUTBUT i have my holidays to look forward to even though its a pathetic fortnight.

Tom Yam Goong

Thanks to my bi for the wonderful tom yam soup with udon!! its sour but not-so-spicy. The ingredients is superfluous, simply loves all except the mushrooms! Though its your maiden try in making the soup, its simply delicious and mouthwatering. Its gone when i get back home at night, just when i yearn for more . But i still have my all-time favorite BA GUA thanks to your mum! i gobble up every pieces i could find! THANKS dear ♥!
